Not quite sure how to make yourself up before the big game?

Skin:
 
ACNE-
  1. Wash your face twice daily with a mild soap.
  2. Wash your face once a week with a facial scrub.
  3. Try to avoid getting your hair on your face.
  4. Avoid oily makeup.
  5. Drink tons of fluids (esp. water.)
  6. Remove makeup before working out (is ok for games.)

SUN-

  1. Wear a sun block with an SPF of at least 15.
  2. Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before going outside.
  3. Try wearing sun glasses that can block near to 100% of the suns rays.

 

Hair:
 
CARE-
  1. If your hair is wet use a wide-toothed comb (never brush out wet hair.)
  2. To keep strong eat a variety of proteins.
  3. Try to let your hair dry naturally as much as possible.
  4. If your hair is too dry use a moisturizing shampoo OR use a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner and follow with a regular conditioner.

LOOKS-

  1. For extra shine after shampooing and conditioning rinse your hair with cold water.
  2. For a special scent spray perfume on your brush and run it through your hair.

HAIR STYLES:

 

DOWN-

Flip-

  1. Use a round brush on damp hair and blow-dry out (with dryer nozzle.)
  2. Hold up a section of hair at the crown and back-comb two inches from the root.
  3. Mist with a medium-hold root-lifting spray.

Wave-

  1. Start with a moisturizing shampoo(use only a dab of conditioner.)
  2. Towel-dry.
  3. Then rake mousse through hair with your fingers.
  4. Set about 15 unheated bendable rollers through hair.
  5. Blast with a diffuser for five minutes.
  6. Remove rollers, then run a finishing cream through hair with your fingers and tousle.

Tousled-

  1. Work a thickening lotion through clean, wet hair with fingers.
  2. Blow-dry hair while scrunching ends.
  3. Work a quarter-sized amount of pomade through layers with fingers for a "broken," tousled look.

UP-

Pinned-

  1. Work hair fudge through clean, dry hair.
  2. Part hair in center.
  3. Taking one small section on either side of part, twist hair to middle back of head and pin.
  4. Continue around the face on both sides of the part to the ears.
  5. Take remaining section of hair in the back, twist up and pin.
  6. Leave some ends sticking out from twist.
  7. Pin and spray random sections of hair to create any desired shape.
  8. Add decorative hair rhinestones or snaps to conceal pins.

Chignon-

  1. Work palm-sized amount of styling mousse into wet hair.
  2. Using a large round brush, blow-dry hair.
  3. Section hair into two pieces: top (crown and sides) and back.
  4. Start rolling hair up from sides of head to center back.
  5. Secure with bobby pins.
  6. Take back section and roll into a small chignon.
  7. Pin to hold.
  8. Pull loose hairs around neck and sides for softening.

Corn rows-

  1. Finger comb volumizing mousse through clean, wet hair.
  2. Diffuse dry.
  3. Section off six parts in front of hair with a wide-toothed comb.
  4. Start braiding each section one at a time in corn rows to center back of head.
  5. Secure each section with a small rubber band.\

French (freedom) twist-

  1. Part clean, wet hair on one side.
  2. Work styling gel through hair and blow-dry using a round metal brush.
  3. Brush crown and sides straight back into smooth shape and pin to hold.
  4. Pull bottom section of hair into low ponytail at base of neck.
  5. Roll hair up into French twist and pin to hold.
